Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of print suppliers across North America.
- Support supplier performance reviews, scorecards, corrective action follow-up, and supplier development activity.
- Identify new supplier capabilities and support onboarding requirements in partnership with supplier governance teams.
- Monitor supplier capacity, quality performance, responsiveness, service levels, and operational risk.
- Source commercial print solutions, including offset, digital, direct mail, large format, signage, and related print categories.
- Support RFQs, supplier selection, competitive bidding events, and cost comparison exercises.
- Analyze supplier quotations and recommend sourcing strategies based on cost, quality, capability, timing, geography, and client requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, production lead times, and service expectations with suppliers.
- Monitor print industry trends, capacity shifts, raw material impacts, pricing changes, and supplier market developments.
- Contribute to category planning and sourcing strategy development.
- Provide practical sourcing recommendations based on market conditions, client requirements, and supplier capabilities.
- Partner with Client Engagement and production teams to identify sourcing opportunities and supplier solutions.
- Deliver cost savings, value engineering recommendations, and practical supplier alternatives.
- Support budget planning, quote validation, cost model review, and escalation resolution as needed.
- Use sourcing tools, dashboards, and reporting systems to track supplier performance, sourcing activity, and savings opportunities.
- Maintain accurate supplier and category data.
- Support KPI reporting, supplier insight reviews, and category performance updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Operations Management, Graphic Communications, Print Management, or related field.
- 3-7 years of procurement, sourcing, purchasing, print production, estimating, or supplier management experience.
- Direct experience purchasing commercial print products, with working knowledge of print manufacturing processes, production lead times, quality requirements, and supplier capabilities.
- Experience building supplier relationships, managing issue resolution, and supporting commercial negotiations.
- Ability to review supplier quotations, compare pricing, challenge assumptions, and recommend practical sourcing decisions.
- Comfort working with multiple internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with sourcing, procurement, ERP, supplier management, or reporting tools.
- Power BI or similar dashboard experience is advantageous.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives.
