Category Management Specialist
Position Summary
Redaptive is an Energy-as-a-Service provider that funds and installs energy-saving and energy-generating equipment. Founded in 2015, we are headquartered in Denver, CO, and backed by leading investors. We are passionate about sustainability and are seeking a Category Management Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Drive and maintain 90% compliance for all required supplier information and documentation (contracts, safety, insurance, code of conduct, credit checks, and EMR).
- Ensure timely supplier onboarding for all key partner types, targeting finalization within 30 days.
- Leverage Process Unity or future vendor database/repository to update supplier profiles and documentation.
- Support the Category Management Lead and team with supplier negotiation and new business opportunities.
- Assist with supplier business reviews and support the Category Management function.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing and procurement needs and requirements.
- Prepare and issue project-level contracts to vendors through DocuSign.
- Support the Procurement function with PO creation, SSA creation, and Lien Waiver collection.
- Maintain a sense of urgency and focus, adapt to changing priorities, and solve problems effectively.
- Manage several projects and tasks simultaneously, review, cleanse, and prepare large datasets for database uploading, and assist with process documentation.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills – phone, email, and messaging.

- Maintain a sense of urgency and focus.
- 1-4+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Experience/exposure in lighting, HVAC, electrical, building engineering, building construction, metering, manufacturing, or related industries.
- A deep understanding of Redaptive offerings and industry trends.
- Excellent presentation, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with both commodity and service offerings is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 2–4+ years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, operations, or a related procurement role.
- Experience using Salesforce, NetSuite, or other ERP/CRM software.
- Previous experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain management, or related fields is strongly preferred.

Pay
Expected annual salary: $85,000– $100,000 (subject to adjustment for relevant experience, skills, and geo location).
