About the role

As a Category Management Senior at Lockheed Martin, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the procurement of critical materials and services. This includes working closely with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to drive cost savings and improve product quality.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in procurement processes.
  • Manage supplier performance through regular evaluations and corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies regarding procurement and supply chain management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with procurement software and tools is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
