Category Analyst
Position Responsibilities
- Develop, track, and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories
- Analyze specific product lines, product assortment, sourcing options, profitability and market trends to identify cost savings and profitability
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve any supply issues for products procured from global and domestic locations
- Auxiliary Category Management Team with key vendor activities and functions
- Conduct business reviews with vendors for various categories and operating divisions
- Negotiate supply agreements to secure the highest quality goods and the right value based on market changes, supply chain movement, and various product offerings
- Develop and communicate changes and updates to the Supplier Agreement to different entities involved with Category Management
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree with 2 to 4 years of related experience
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 5 to 7 plus years of specific experience
