CAT III Spanish Linguist with Security Clearance

About the role

The Spanish Linguist, CAT III position at WorldWide Language Resources supports U.S. and allied government missions globally. Key responsibilities include conducting DOCEX, verbal translation, audio translation, and training/sustaining operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consecutive, accurate translations and interpretations of on-going conversations and activities.
• Provide language or dialect specific translations using correct sentence structure in both Spanish and English.
• Ready, willing, and able to adapt to changing work tasks and mission requirements.
• Function effectively under high-pressure and stressful conditions.
• Deploy and work in austere conditions as needed.
• Pass relevant language evaluations and security clearances.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Ability to conduct DOCEX, verbal, audio translation, and training/sustaining operations.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Physical fitness to perform mission-related duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in language support services.
• Basic typing and computer skills.
• Knowledge of Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel.
• Understanding of local cultures and customs.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
