Casual Package Handler

About the role

This non-driving role involves the safe and efficient movement of packages, documents, and supplies through effective scan/load methods.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, and handling packages of various sizes and weights, including dangerous goods.
• Operating equipment to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces.
• Working in all weather conditions, climbing stairs and ladders as needed.
• Maintaining safety standards and effective communication in a noisy environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and maneuver heavier packages with assistance or equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and work in various environments.
• Successful completion of all required training.
• Must be 18+, pass training, and not have worked with FedEx in the past 6 months.
