Casual Access Control Officer
Job Requirements
- Process official and unofficial base visitors in accordance with base regulations regarding access eligibility.
- Process visitors via appropriate sponsor databases.
- Issue badges to reflect the visitor’s respective level.
- Assign security escort personnel as required while on base.
- Ensure that uncleared contractor personnel have complied with base security’s requirements.
- Complete proper data forms in a timely manner and have been approved for base access.
- Ensure positive personnel identification and control via the production Issuance and verification of identification media.
- Monitoring compliance of base rules and regulations.
- Denying facility access to visitors not meeting access requirements and providing security related administrative processing support and paperwork.
Minimum Requirements
- A High school Diploma or GED.
- Active Top Secret clearance with Polygraph at time of application.
- Multitasking.
- Customer service skills.
- Microsoft suite and computer program knowledge.
- A Valid Drivers License.
- A US Citizen.
Compensation & Benefits
This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future.
