Access Control Officer

About the role

The Access Control Officer position at Securitas Security Services is part-time, located in Quincy, IL. The role involves providing impeccable customer service and peace of mind to clients and their guests, while upholding the company's core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed
• Patroling in various weather conditions
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• A High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
• Above average computer / technology skills needed
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience preferred
• Must be able to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation

Qualifications

• Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
• Two years of customer service experience required
• Must be able to stand / walk for long periods of time

Pay

$18.50 per hour

Schedule

Monday: 2PM - 10:30PM
Saturday: 5:45AM - 2PM
