About the role
The School of Humanities and Languages in the Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture seeks expressions of interest from qualified individuals for teaching opportunities in 2026. The School teaches across various disciplines including Philosophy, History and Area Studies, Gender Studies, European Culture and Languages (German, French, Spanish, Greek), Chinese Culture and Language, Japanese and Korean Culture and Language, Linguistics, Translation and Interpreting, and Environmental Humanities.
Responsibilities
- Select courses you are interested in teaching
- Provide information on your qualifications and experience
- Be available for interviews to discuss your suitability for any roles
- Prepare for on-campus and online activities such as tutorials, lectures, seminars, and marking or assisting with Hybrid teaching
Requirements
To be considered, you must have working rights in Australia and hold an Australian bank account. Qualifications
Experience in teaching across the disciplines offered by the School is preferred, but recent graduates and HDR candidates are also encouraged to apply.
Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to different teaching methods and technologies.
