CASTL Data Operation Professional (Staff Wage)

About the role

This position is broadly responsible for record keeping, data maintenance, and data reporting and analysis. This individual will work closely on a project or work team.

Responsibilities

• Broadly responsible for record keeping, data maintenance, and data reporting and analysis.
• Work closely on a project or work team.
• Support data management and analysis for mathematics education research.
• Knowledge and skills in mathematics teaching and learning (birth – age 12).
• Data management skills (e.g., cleaning and manipulating data; data dictionary development) for quantitative and qualitative data.
• Basic quantitative data analysis skills (multilevel, hierarchical linear modeling).
• Qualitative data analysis skills (case study approach).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Word and Excel.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and related experience in lieu of a degree required.
• Experience: 1+ years relevant experience required.
• Licensure: None.

Qualifications

• Education: MA or MS in psychology or related field preferred.
• Experience: Completion of RCR (Responsible Conduct of Research) Training through the CITI Program preferred.

Skills

• Background knowledge in mathematics teaching and learning (birth – age 12).
• Data management skills (e.g., cleaning and manipulating data; data dictionary development) for quantitative and qualitative data.
• Basic quantitative data analysis skills (multilevel, hierarchical linear modeling).

Hourly Rate: $23/hour, no more than 20 hours/week
