About the role
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Casting Trainee to join our team. As a Casting Trainee, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our casting process, ensuring the highest quality products are produced. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will be critical in this role.
Responsibilities
- Operate casting equipment and machinery to produce high quality products according to specifications.
- Monitor and control the casting process to ensure optimal production output and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of casting equipment and machinery, identifying and resolving any issues or malfunctions.
- Adjust and calibrate equipment settings to achieve desired product specifications.
- Collaborate with the production team to plan and prioritize casting schedules.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on casting equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and any quality issues.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the casting industry is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality products.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery in a safe manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to effectively follow instructions.
Qualifications
- Must pass company background check and drug screen.
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule
(2-2-3) 12 hours 7am- 7 pm; Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary.
