What You'll Do
- Apply and remove casts, splints, dressings, sutures, and staples
- Perform dressing changes using proper aseptic techniques
- Assemble, fit, adjust, and maintain orthopedic braces and support devices
- Educate patients on the care and maintenance of casts, braces, dressings, and other orthopedic equipment
- Accurately document patient information, charges, and treatment-related data in the electronic medical record system
- Support physicians and clinical staff in delivering exceptional patient care
What You'll Bring
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant credential preferred, or EMT/Paramedic experience
- Strong patient-service skills and attention to detail
