Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service to each and every guest.
• Exceed guest expectations through positive interactive skills.
• Keep areas cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
• Maintain Wynn standards of service to guests and coworkers at all times.
• Maintain Wynn standards of cleanliness and appearance for all areas, including restrooms, casino areas, meeting rooms, restaurants, nightclubs, retail areas, theaters, back of house areas, and exterior areas of the property.
• Maintain a safe and pristine work environment at all times.
• Follow department and company safety standards.
• Adhere to Wynn policies and procedures, embrace company culture, and take pride in the resort and amenities.
• Understand and be well versed in the resort, hotel features and services, including all outlets, hours of operation, activities, and events available to guests.
• Attend required training classes and incorporate new standards, service knowledge, and safety into daily work practices.
• Monitor and maintain cleaning of assigned areas, including cleaning hard surfaces, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up trash, polishing metal, wiping down doors, cleaning mirrors and glass, cleaning slot machines, emptying ashtrays, cleaning baseboards, replacing and/or restocking paper products.
• Check assigned areas for safety and repair issues.
• Respond to all calls for cleaning requests, spills, and bio hazards.
• Comply with requests to assist in other areas as needed.
• Use a two-way radio for professional and courteous communication.
• Awareness of guest experience at all times, smiles, and makes eye contact.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in a janitorial or cleaning environment preferred.
• Candidate must be able to work efficiently within a team environment.
• Candidate must possess a positive, "whatever it takes" attitude.
• Candidate must have an open mind and willingness to learn new processes, concepts, and ways of approaching guest and coworkers.
• Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English with guests, management, and other associates to their understanding.
• Additional foreign language a plus.
• Candidate must be well groomed and professional.
• Candidate must be available to work all shifts and days.
• Candidate must be willing to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding guests and staff.
• Candidate must be 21 years of age or older.
