Responsibilities

  • Verifies and authorizes jackpot payouts.
  • Supports and assists slot attendants and dealers on the casino floor.
  • General monitoring of job performance of slot service specialists.
  • Covers shifts for shift managers as needed.
  • Aids casino patrons with general questions concerning the casino.
  • Responsible for all activity that transpires on the casino floor relative to Slots and/or Table Games.
  • Informs and communicates all pertinent information to the Casino Manager.
  • Observes, verifies and supervises payout transactions relative to Slots/and or Table Games.
  • Oversees all significant monetary exchanges to ensure prompt and accurate execution of transactions.
  • Completes daily personnel assignments and re-assigns personnel based on business volumes, including but not limited to Early Outs and the opening and closing of games.
  • Communicates interdepartmentally on an ongoing basis with departments such as Marketing, Security and Surveillance.

Requirements

  • Two or more years’ experience in a casino environment in slots, table games, or slot performance.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to write reports, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated intermediate level of competence in the areas of ambition, customer service, engagement, leadership, business reasoning and emotional intelligence.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
  • Responsible for staff development and training programs.
  • Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.
  • Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance.
  • Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs.
  • Determines work procedures and expedites workflow.
  • Responsible for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling).

Pay

Starting Salary: $26.00

Schedule

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and fluctuating days off.
