About the role

• Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service.
• Adheres to established departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Sets up bars for operation: cuts fruit, stocks ice, empties garbage.
• Supports bartender needs: ices drink glasses and pours non-alcoholic drinks as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of workstations, designated areas, and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Maintains par stock levels, orders bar supplies, and delivers orders.
• Reports maintenance problems to management and assists with equipment upkeep.
• Removes and disposes of refuse and debris; sorts recyclables (bottles, cardboard).
• Resolves service issues according to established guidelines.
• Assists with setting up for banquets and private functions: stocks beverages and paper products.
• Uses positive communication and Red Carpet Training skills with patrons and coworkers.
• Performs duties safely and reports potential hazards to management.
• May perform temporary duties outside the job description as needed for efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Prior Food & Beverage experience helpful but not required; familiarity with bar environment preferred.
• Must be able to read, speak, and understand English.
• Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights, and fast-paced, crowded environments.
• Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Mobility to move easily in outlet and storage areas.
• Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Pay

Starting salary: $13.00 per hour. Initial placement within the salary range is based on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
