About the role

Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) is a premium commercial brand medium‑to‑heavy truck dealership that provides a full‑service experience — from sales and skilled technicians to on‑demand parts, leasing/rental, and financial services. VVG aims to be a one‑stop shop for truckers, owner‑operators, fleets, and companies. The Service Cashier ensures a superior customer experience is delivered consistently and reliably, handling billing accuracy and customer updates to promote VVG’s Speed, Value, Trust culture. The position is located in Whittier, CA.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers immediately in a courteous manner
• Treats customers fairly and honestly and demonstrates company’s commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices
• Provides updates to customers
• Collects payment from customers
• Reviews and processes all repair orders
• Assists Service Advisors with phone calls
• Ensures all repair orders were performed and billed correctly
• Ensures proper sign‑out procedure is followed
• Notifies customers to advise truck is ready for pick up
• Prints invoices
• Provides backup to reconcile credit card charges
• Files repair orders
• Updates customer files
• Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones and assisting customers
• Performs miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Cashiering experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Must pass post‑offer drug test, physical examination, and background check

Pay

Hourly $18‑$19 based on experience and qualifications. Full‑time position.

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
