Job Description

The Cashier at The Golf Mart is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that aligns with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy. “Sure No Problem” means putting the customer first and doing whatever we can to ensure a memorable and positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service, especially during the final phase of the shopping experience.
• Process information and merchandise through the computer and POS register system.
• Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance, and merchandise replenishment as needed.
• Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Knowledge of processing information and merchandise via computer and POS register system.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store, including standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and using a ladder.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds at any given time.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Qualifications

• Entry‑level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Any experience in a retail or golf environment is a plus.
• General golf knowledge/background is a plus, but not required.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $16.90 – $18.00 per hour. Individual starting rate may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
