Cashier - Service

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Scan and process customer purchases accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions, ensuring that all money is accounted for and proper change is given.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Assist with bagging and packaging customer purchases as needed.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent math skills to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of basic computer functions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 25 pounds).
