About the role

As a Cashier at LV Petroleum, you will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests. This role is vital in ensuring smooth and efficient service during all operating hours.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and assist with purchases and inquiries
• Handle cash, credit, and debit payments accurately using the POS system
• Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area and assist with store upkeep
• Stay informed about current promotions, products, and services to assist customers effectively
• Work alongside team members to support seamless operations
• Help monitor stock levels and restock merchandise as required

Requirements

• Experience in cashiering or customer service is preferred but not essential
• Basic numeracy and cash handling skills
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
• Reliability and flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a positive demeanor
