About the role

As a Cashier at LV Petroleum, you will be the face of our business, responsible for efficiently processing customer transactions while providing outstanding service. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons as they visit our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Transaction Processing: Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the cashier station and surrounding areas clean and organized
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure efficient service and uphold company standards
• Inventory Assistance: Assist with monitoring inventory and restocking items as needed to support operations

Requirements

• Experience: Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Skills: Basic math skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately
• Communication: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Dependability: Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
