Cashier -Riverview Softball Complex

About the role

This is a full-time position within the City of Elkhart's Public Works Department.

Responsibilities

• Maintain city streets and public rights-of-way.
• Perform routine maintenance on traffic signals and signs.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform necessary repairs.
• Operate various pieces of equipment including a truck-mounted bucket.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Physical ability to operate heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Experience with traffic control devices preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with computer software.
