Cashier, Part Time - The Golf Mart

About the role

The Cashier at The Golf Mart promotes and maintains a store culture consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy—putting the customer first to ensure a memorable and positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service, ensuring the customer’s final shopping experience is positive.
• Process transactions and merchandise through the computer and POS register system.
• Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance, and merchandise replenishment as needed.
• Once fully trained, identify and suggest process improvements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management, including maintaining proper control of cash and media materials.

Requirements

• Knowledge of processing information and merchandise via computer and POS register system.
• Ability to freely access all store areas (sales floor, stock area, register area) by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and using a ladder.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds at any given time.
• Willingness to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Retail or golf environment experience is a plus.
• General golf knowledge/background is beneficial but not required.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $16.90 - $18.00 per hour. Individual starting rate within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
