Cashier, Part Time - Golfers Warehouse

About the role

The Cashier at Golfers' Warehouse is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture consistent with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy. This means putting the customer first and doing whatever we can to ensure a memorable and positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service, ensuring the customer’s last phase of their shopping experience is positive.
• Process information and merchandise through computer and POS register system.
• Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance, and merchandise replenishment as needed.
• Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
• Ensure guest satisfaction at the service desk and proper control of all cash and media materials.

Requirements

• Knowledge of processing information and merchandise via computer and POS register system.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area, and register area by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and climbing a ladder.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds at any given time.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Any experience in a retail or golf environment is a plus.
• General golf knowledge/background is a plus but not required.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. Individual starting rate within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
