Job Description

Welcomes guests, seats them at tables or lounge and helps to ensure quality and service; courteously greets all guests and performs cashier transactions accurately and according to company policy.

Responsibilities

• Settle all customer checks in the system accurately.
• Properly complete all cash or credit transactions as necessary.
• Ensure an excellent customer service atmosphere for all guests.
• Assist other staff as necessary to ensure a pleasant guest experience.
• Provide all guests with a copy of their receipt.
• Perform necessary side work and maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Follow departmental rules to ensure safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
• Always thank guests for their patronage and invite them back.
• Ensure bank is returned to the cage.
• Understand and utilize the Infogenesis system.
• Exemplify our core values, family‑style service, mission, and vision.
• Exemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to smile, make eye contact, and communicate easily with the public.
• Ability to clearly communicate verbally and by telephone.
• Positive attitude and ability to be courteous during demanding times.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Work is performed in an area which may be unusually noisy and crowded.
• Mobility to include bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking, accessing, and lifting items from floor level to six feet high.
• Normal sense of smell, touch, sound, and vision range.
• Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity, as well as the ability to distinguish letters, symbols, and currency.
• Work area is subject to variable temperatures.
• May be subject to a smoking environment and moderate noise.
