About the role

The Cashier interacts with customers at a retail store, focusing on providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the retail store, assisting with customer service questions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.
• Handle customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
• Ensure accurate cash handling.
• Price store merchandise as requested by store management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
• Manage customer returns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Long periods of standing.
• Frequent bending and twisting.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Irregular work schedule.

Qualifications

• No direct supervisory authority.
• Reports directly to the Store Manager.

Hourly Pay Range: $14.00-$15.00 Depending on experience.

Schedule

Hours vary with days, evenings (until 9pm), and a rotating weekend/holiday coverage required.
