CASHIER (PART TIME)

About the role

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a part-time CASHIER to join our team at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. The position offers a flexible schedule on Thursdays and Fridays from 5:45 AM to 2:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports.
• Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities.
• Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Accepts various forms of payment, issues receipts, and handles cash refunds.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Ensures cash drawer compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenishes condiments, coffee, beverages, and supplies, maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
• Keeps pastry case stocked and ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory procedures.
• Complies with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Prior cashier experience is preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Skills

Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Pay

$9.50 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part time schedule; Thursday and Friday, 5:45 AM to 2:00 PM.
