Cashier (Part Time)

About the role

A Part-Time Cashier contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly, helpful face to shoppers, donors, people seeking testing, or pharmacy patrons. Within their duties of ringing up sales and answering customers’ questions, this position has the opportunity to give stand-out service that enhances the reputation of AHF and encourages customers to return to an OTC and recommend it to others. Better sales performance will increase AHF's ability to serve more clients. Precision in handling cash and credit purchases protects AHF and maximizes revenue from the store.

The Part-Time Cashier can enhance the experience of other OTC employees by being friendly and helpful and by offering to lend a hand when needed. Additionally, providing feedback to their manager about how service could be improved allows the team member to further contribute to the team. The Part-Time Cashier adds consistent value to the OTC Team by adapting to various situations with ease and by being flexible.

Responsibilities

• Ring up sales and process cash and credit purchases accurately.
• Answer customers’ questions and provide helpful, friendly service.
• Enhance AHF’s reputation by delivering stand-out service that encourages repeat visits and recommendations.
• Support other OTC employees by offering assistance when needed.
