Cashier (Part Time)

About the role

A Part-Time Cashier contributes to AHF's mission by presenting a friendly, helpful face to shoppers, donors, people seeking testing or pharmacy patrons. Within their duties of ringing up sales and answering customers’ questions, this position has the opportunity to give standout service that enhances the reputation of AHF and encourages customers to return.

Responsibilities

• Ringing up sales and answering customer questions
• Providing standout service to enhance AHF's reputation and encourage customer loyalty
• Precision in handling cash and credit purchases to protect AHF and maximize revenue
• Enhancing the experience of other OTC employees by being friendly, helpful, and offering assistance when needed
• Giving feedback to the manager on how service can be improved to enhance contributions to the team
• Adapting to various situations and being flexible to add consistent value to the OTC Team

• Attention to detail for handling cash and credit purchases
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills for using POS systems
