Pay

Starting hiring pay: $17.25 per hour. Within your first year you can earn up to an additional $1.50 per hour through training, certifications, and performance evaluations.

About the role

As a Cashier at Raising Cane’s you will greet and assist customers, fill drink orders, work the drive‑thru, and play an essential role in the restaurant’s front of house. Cashiers guide the customer experience and interact with every guest. The position is entry‑level — no prior experience required — and paid training is provided. There are opportunities to advance quickly into roles such as Certified Trainer and to cross‑train on back‑of‑house positions.

Responsibilities

• Lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Kneel, bend, twist, or stoop
• Ascend or descend stairs
• Reach and grasp objects (including above head and below waistline)
• Provide excellent verbal and written communication
• Show up to scheduled shifts on time
• Clean tables, floors, and other areas of the restaurant
• Take orders from customers and process payments efficiently
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food
• Multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Provide quick and friendly service to all customers
• Work collaboratively as a team, assisting other crewmembers to ensure continuity of service
