Cashier - Immediate Opening

Responsibilities

• Ring up customer purchases accurately and efficiently
• Assist customers with questions, concerns, and problem-solving, involving management if needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth department functioning
• Promote friendly customer interactions and contribute to a positive shopping experience

Qualifications & Skills

• Friendly, outgoing attitude with a focus on customer service
• Experience on a front end or knowledge of coupons, returns, security, and etiquette (preferred)
• Motivated to learn and grow within the role
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., reaching, standing, and operating equipment
• Strong judgment, social, verbal, and math skills

Key Duties & Physical Requirements

• Frequent physical activity including lifting, reaching, and standing
• Occasional lifting over 50 lbs., squatting, bending, and walking
• Use of scanning, register, and other store equipment
