Cashier II
Job Summary
Responsible for receiving payments and issuing receipts, gift-wrapping packages and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions.
Essential Functions
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit.
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets.
- Resolve customer complaints and provide relevant information.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Licenses and Credentials: Experience in Customer Service and Money Management required, 1-2 years each.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with cash registers, credit/debit card transactions and money management; good math skills; strong communication and time management skills; customer satisfaction oriented.
Additional Job Details
The schedule for this role requires open availability to cover the below shifts as needed. Days and hours include the following: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm, and/or 10am-6:30pm Weekends and Holidays- 9:45am-6:15pm
