CASHIER (FULL TIME)
About the role
Flik Hospitality Group is hiring a full-time CASHIER position at the Fidelity 500 Salem Cafe located at 500 Salem Street, Smithfield, RI 02917. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full-time, with days varying from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and further details will be provided during the interview process.
Responsibilities
- Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports.
- Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities.
- Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
- Accepts various forms of payment, issues receipts, and handles cash refunds.
- Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Ensures cash drawer compliance with overage/shortage standards.
- Replenishes condiments, coffee, beverages, and general supplies, maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
- Keeps pastry case stocked and ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory procedures.
- Complies with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous cashiering experience is required.

Pay
Fixed Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.
