CASHIER (FULL TIME)

About the role

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time CASHIER at Baptist Memorial Hospital - 1100 Belk Boulevard, Oxford, MS 38655. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full time, days may vary from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and rotating weekends with holidays.

Responsibilities

• Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports.
• Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Accepts various forms of payment and issues receipts to customers.
• Issues cash refunds and follows standard procedures.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Ensures cash drawer compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenishes condiments, coffee, other beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness.
• Keeps pastry case stocked and ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory procedures.
• Observes customer purchases and differentiates between standard portions.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Prior cashier experience is required.
