Job Summary
Operates the Point of Sale system, assists the chef, prepares coffee, and keeps the coffee and cashier stations clean.
Requirements
- Prior cashier and food service experience in a fast‑paced environment.
Schedule
Full‑time and part‑time schedules; Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. More details provided during interview.
Pay
Fixed pay rate: $16.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, desserts, and catering orders.
- Perform cashier duties using the POS system, maintain cash accuracy, and make deposits at shift end.
- Provide service in all retail areas, including line serving.
- Perform general cleaning duties and remove trash to designated areas.
- Inventory and restock supplies and food products; set up serving line, record temperatures, and notify cooks of any issues.
- Serve hot and cold items to customers and set up items for purchase daily.
- Keep refrigerator stocked, rotate product using FIFO, and record temperatures on floor stock forms.
- Stock pantries with correct par levels and record replenished amounts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
