CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Location: Lincoln Memorial University, 6965 Cumberland Gap Parkway, Harrogate, TN 37752.

Schedule

Full‑time and part‑time schedules; days and hours may vary, including mornings, nights, and weekends.

Requirements

Prior cashier and food service experience is required.

Pay

$13.00 – $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and keeps the coffee and cashier stations clean.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, desserts, and catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system, maintaining cash accuracy and making deposits at shift end.
• Perform general cleaning duties, removing trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products; set up serving line, record temperatures, and notify cooks of out‑of‑range temperatures.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers; set up items for purchase daily.
• Keep refrigerator stocked and rotate product using first‑in, first‑out; stock pantries to correct par levels.
• Record replenished amounts and refrigerator temperatures on floor‑stock forms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
