Cashier - Council Oak Fish

About the role

The Food and Beverage Cashier is responsible for the accurate handling of restaurant financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions, including sales, payment processing, and making change, according to POS and cash handling procedures.
• Properly and accurately balance the cash drawer daily.
• Maintain all credit card receipts, room charge receipts, comps, and vouchers with required signatures.
• Organize paperwork in an orderly manner.
• Be knowledgeable of property facilities, services, hours of operation, in-house events, conferences, and amenities to proactively assist guests.
• May be required to answer phones in specific restaurants.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a similar setting helpful.
• Previous money handling skills preferred.
• Computer skills a plus.
