Essential Job Functions
- Greet all guests in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner while building rapport to encourage future sales.
- Operate a register to enter orders and process transactions accurately.
- Ensure guest orders are completed correctly by communicating with runners and cooks through the register system, manual tickets, or by gathering food and beverage items as needed.
- When serving alcoholic beverages, comply with all Craft Culinary Concepts policies and state liquor laws regarding alcohol service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping it free of debris and in compliance with Craft Culinary Concepts standards and local health department regulations.
- Assist with cleaning and preparing assigned locations for future events under the direction of management.
- Strong communication with Craft Culinary Concepts leadership is essential, including sharing guest feedback and employee suggestions to help improve service and drive sales.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16* years old
- Must have a valid TEAM, TIPs, or AZ Title 4 certificate if 18 or older to serve alcohol
- Must have a valid Pima County Food Handler Card on file with Craft Culinary Concepts and in your possession for each shift worked
- Must have knowledge of cash handling including ability to total orders and make change without the use of cash register
- Must be able to effectively use cash register and credit card machines
- Must have a H.S Diploma or equivalent unless currently enrolled
- Must complete all pre-employment forms, successfully pass a background check and math assessment involving all US monetary units
- Must be able to work with a group as well as independently
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used by guests who typically visit the work location
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced high stress environment
Preferred Skills
- 2+ years counter server or equivalent experience in high volume restaurant environment or another stadium/arena/venue
- Ability to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers, supervisors and guests
Other Skills/Abilities
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours in length
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, tightly quartered environment is a must
- Must be able to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work in extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise
