About the role

At 7th Street Burger, our Part-Time and Full-Time Cashiers are the face of the shop. You're the first hello and the last thank you, keeping the line moving and the energy up while orders fly. Responsibilities

• Greet every customer and create a welcoming, high-energy experience
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently
• Count and close out the register at open and close
• Keep the counter, lobby, and garbage areas clean throughout your shift
• Communicate with the cooks to ensure order accuracy and speed
• Support your teammates and jump in wherever the shift needs you

Requirements

• A positive, customer-first attitude and reliable attendance
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or retail environment preferred
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
• Food handler certification is a plus (we will help you get certified)

• Flexible availability for late nights (most shops are open until 3:00am), weekends, and holidays
