Cashier

Essential Functions

• Controls the day-to-day operations in the following areas of responsibility:
• Inputs all sales and exchanges into the register accurately
• Ensures adherence to established pricing and sales procedures
• Completes closing reports and/or drawer counts and locates any inaccuracies
• Accurately completes the deposit envelope at the end of the day.
• (Depending on shift worked)
• Answer and process incoming calls.
• Takes and passes along phone messages as needed.
• Great incoming customers
• Responds to customer inquiries
• Processes incoming donations as needed
• Affixes to loadouts as needed
• Provides information about Habitat for Humanity as requested
• Assists with other volunteers as needed
• Pricing items as requested, using the internet or other means
• Checks office equipment for supplies on a regular basis
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• At least 1 year of customer service skills and/or cash register experience
