About the role

If you are a personable individual with strong phone skills and a great work ethic, join the New Country team! We are seeking a full-time Cashier to work at our busy dealership.

Responsibilities

• Answering inbound sales and service calls
• Operate busy switchboard & communicate efficiently with all customer & internal teams
• Collecting payment for both service and parts customers
• Greeting customers upon arrival and exit
• Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience in telemarketing and/or hospitality
• Exceptional telephone skills, with a high level of comfort, and a professional voice and manner
• Computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office Suite (Word and Excel)
• Ability to learn new software programs
• Professional business appearance and demeanor
• Flexibility with regard to scheduling
• Prior experience with an automotive dealership (a plus)
• Public relations experience (a plus)
• Cold call experience (a plus)
• Experience using a customer relationship management (CRM) tool (a plus)
• Experience running a business switchboard (a plus)
