Role Overview

Responsible for providing excellent customer service at the front end, accurately ringing up purchases, resolving customer questions, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and build lasting connections with customers
  • Handle transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Absorb and escalate customer questions or concerns to management when needed
  • Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
  • Support team tasks to ensure an exceptional department
  • Promote a friendly, outgoing atmosphere and customer service focus

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience on a front end is preferred
  • Knowledge of coupons, returns, security procedures, and etiquette
  • Motivated to learn and grow within the role
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude

Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs., push/pull 20 lbs., stand, reach, and operate equipment
  • Requires judgment, social skills, memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
  • Physical activity varies, with frequent and occasional tasks detailed
