Be the Friendly Face Customers Remember At Landscapers Supply, our Cashiers do more than process transactions — they create the first and last impression for every customer who walks through our doors. We’re looking for friendly, dependable, customer-focused team members who enjoy helping people and creating a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and leaving the store with a friendly attitude
• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
• Help customers with questions and direct them to products or departments
• Process transactions accurately using cash, credit/debit cards, and charge accounts
• Issue receipts, refunds, and charge tickets
• Accurately count and return change
• Verify checks and monitor for counterfeit cash
• Maintain clean and organized checkout and front-end areas
• Support store appearance and operational efficiency
• Report security or loss prevention concerns to management
• Ask open-ended questions to better understand customer needs
• Promote a positive shopping experience that supports customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Experience as a retail cashier or similar customer service role
• Basic PC and POS system knowledge
• Good math and cash-handling skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Customer satisfaction-focused mindset

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Paladin POS systems, basic knowledge of yard products or hardscape materials

Skills

• Standing for most of the shift
• Some lifting required
