About the role

Dillons merges with The Kroger Company in 1983, operating over 60 stores in Kansas. Part of the Kroger family, we aim to create amazing experiences for customers, communities, and employees alike.

Responsibilities

• Visibly greet, engage, and assist customers
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
• Understand and adhere to POS system, handling various tenders and complex offers
• Report and adhere to company policies on cash shortages, loss prevention, and restricted sales
• Stay updated with store promotions and adhere to food safety regulations
• Comply with safety procedures, identify and report unsafe conditions, and reinforce safety programs
• Manage conflict in a cooperative manner, adhere to honesty and integrity, and provide support to customers and associates
• Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults through direct interaction

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• Effective communication skills
• Basic math knowledge (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Previous experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk preferred

Skills

Ability to work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, manage conflict, act with honesty and integrity, follow directions, and seek assistance when needed.
