About the role
Jerry’s is seeking a part-time union employee to join our team. This position reports to the Front End Manager.
Responsibilities
- Make lasting connections with our customers
- Ring up customer purchases in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner
- Problem solve customer questions and/or concerns (may need to call a manager)
- Help maintain a clean and safe store
- Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department
- Be a part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled
Requirements
- Willingness to work various hours from Sunday to Saturday
- Must be friendly and outgoing, promoting customer service for the entire team
- Experience working on a front end is preferred
- Knowledge of coupons, returns, security procedures, and etiquette is beneficial
- Motivated to grow their career and continue learning

Pay and Schedule
- Progressive scale up to $18.00 / hour, based on experience
- Varying hours from Sunday to Saturday

Physical Requirements
- Frequent: Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 20 lbs., reaching, standing, turning
- Occasional: Lifting/carrying over 50 lbs., squatting, stooping/bending, walking
