About the role

Jerry’s is seeking a part-time union employee to join our team. This position reports to the Front End Manager.

Responsibilities

• Make lasting connections with our customers
• Ring up customer purchases in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner
• Problem solve customer questions and/or concerns (may need to call a manager)
• Help maintain a clean and safe store
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department
• Be a part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled

Requirements

• Willingness to work various hours from Sunday to Saturday
• Must be friendly and outgoing, promoting customer service for the entire team
• Experience working on a front end is preferred
• Knowledge of coupons, returns, security procedures, and etiquette is beneficial
• Motivated to grow their career and continue learning

Pay and Schedule

• Progressive scale up to $18.00 / hour, based on experience
• Varying hours from Sunday to Saturday

Physical Requirements

• Frequent: Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 20 lbs., reaching, standing, turning
• Occasional: Lifting/carrying over 50 lbs., squatting, stooping/bending, walking
