Cashier
About the role
Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking a high-energy, positive, and team-minded Cashier to join their retail team. This position is crucial for the success of their retail store operations.
Responsibilities
- Complete transactions, handle money responsibly, and maintain accuracy of point of sale purchases.
- Sort, grade, process, and stock shelves of donated goods.
- Maintain a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service.
- Perform basic housekeeping duties to keep the store clean.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- No formal education required.
- One year of customer service and/or production experience preferred.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs. frequently and perform tasks such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures.

- Customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills, particularly with point of sale systems.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and moving items.

$12.00/hour
Schedule
Shift B: 1:00pm – 9:30pm on Monday – Friday (8 Hours)
Hours of Operation
Monday-Sunday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
