About the role

Cashiers are responsible for greeting and assisting guests.

Responsibilities

• Changing and maintaining displays
• Helping to keep store neat and clean
• Assisting with the replenishment of stock and/or removing merchandise from the sales floor
• Striving to meet daily sales goals
• Performing duties according to the established Best Practices of ESGW
• Being cross-trained and assisting in all aspects of retail operations as directed

Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours, days, evenings, and weekends
• Standing, stooping, bending, and carrying for entire shift (excluding break times)
• Use of hands for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation
• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community
• Physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements
• Tolerance to extreme changes in temperature and humidity
• Completion of a background check (acknowledging or having criminal convictions does not constitute an automatic bar to employment)

Skills

• Knowledge of merchandise, cash register operations, and change‑making
• Ability to work with people having different abilities
• Able to perform repetitive tasks independently
