CASHIER
DEPARTMENT SCOPE OF SERVICE
The patient financial services department is comprised of billing, collections, and cashiering functions for the hospital. The department is responsible for compliance with all applicable state and federal billing requirements and changes. The department operates Monday through Friday from 8:00a.m to 4:30p.m.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
- Experience: Two years of accounting experience in a business office desirable, preferably in a health care environment.
- Licensure/Certification: None
