Cashier

About the role

Full-time cashier position at Bob Thomas Ford North, offering an entry point into the retail automotive business with opportunities for career growth.

Schedule

9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Every third Saturday, 8 am to noon.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the cashier window and answer questions about procedures or policies.
• Compute and record transaction totals.
• Count money and reconcile the cash drawer.
• Tabulate parts or service bills using calculators, cash registers, and/or computers.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers.
• Compile and maintain non-monetary reports and records.
• Process service repair orders, including opening and closing.
• Perform filing and other miscellaneous clerical duties.

Requirements

• Experience handling cash, checks, and credit cards.
• Responsible, organized, and demonstrates accurate data entry skills.
• Good communication skills and a steady work history.
• Friendly, efficient, and able to handle money accurately, especially when interacting with service customers.

Pay

Hourly pay with a review at 90 days.
