Cashier

About the role

An OTC cashier contributes to AHF’s mission by presenting a friendly, helpful face to shoppers, donors, people seeking testing or pharmacy patrons. Within their duties of ringing up sales and answering customers’ questions, this position has the opportunity to give standout service that enhances the reputation of AHF and encourages customers to return to an OTC and recommend it to others. Better sales performance will increase AHF’s ability to serve more clients. Precision in the handling of cash and credit purchases protects AHF and maximizes the revenue from the store.

Responsibilities

• Ring up sales accurately and efficiently

• Be friendly and helpful to other OTC employees, offering assistance when needed
• Give feedback to the manager about how service could be improved
