Cashier (2nd & 3rd Shift)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and personable Cashier to join our team at our travel centers located at 1750 Salem Rd, Cookeville, TN, USA. Walk-in interviews are available anytime between 11am CST to 4pm CST.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases while addressing any queries professionally.
• Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Keep the cashier area and surrounding environment clean, organized, and inviting for customers.
• Maintain an understanding of products and promotions to provide helpful information to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
• Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking as required.

Requirements

• Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions accurately.
• Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Must be reliable and flexible, able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
